We bleed blue

ok i dont know why when i write my blogs i cant actually see the pictures until i post but...i cant, so i'll just explain. The first picture is our family preparing for a Jazz game. We all have jerseys and if you can tell cam and I both have our faces painted. so fun. And Cameron got a new hat therefore our family is totally decked out! Anyway, our family now dresses up for the games, to show our support for them, even at home. :D One of the other pictures is the most recent picture of my belly. This was taken last night by Cameron while i was talking to David on the phone. As this is the only picture that even shows my tummy its the best i could do at the moment. I only post this because I've been getting requests to post how I'm looking. Its not a very good shot as i'm bending over, but girls- you get the idea, its growing. I have 7 1/2 weeks left!! dun duh dunnnn! i'm very excited to get there. I cant wait until I meet this new baby. It will be great. As this gets to closer I'll post more about how things are going...for the moment everything is great and we are planning a wonderful home birth. very excited about that. Another pic, is this last sunday when we couldn't go to church because Jadie was still contagious with Hand Foot Mouth. She often does this kind of snuggling with Cameron, making a mess while lounging on him. Finally the pic of Jadie eating has a funny story. She has now learned a new way to get out of eating- put it on her head. She still likes to try to hide the food under her tray but not only does putting the fruit on her head get the food off her tray but it necessiates a bath...and its a great hat so, wheres the down fall? She kept picking up the fruit individually and putting them on her head. then she would push them down as hard as she could to make sure they were going to stay. You cant help but laugh. The other food on her face is refried beans from the enchilladas. That made for great make-up to go with her awesome head wear. My daughter is a girl in every way. Nothing could bring more joy then to watch you child grow. It is amazing to be a mother. I cannot think of a greater calling in life. Yes, it is flippin hard sometimes and doing housework is the pits but...I get to hang out with the cutest girl all day. I get to see her make new faces, and learn about splashing in the tub. I get to see her touch the soup and then rub her own body so she can wash herself in the tub. I get to see her reach up toward me. I see how excited she gets when daddy gets home. And better than all of that I get to pick her up everyday and love her. When she first wakes up from a nap or is going to go down to sleep she lays her head on my shoulder and plays with my hair. If my hair is up she will get pieces out so that she can pull her fingers threw it. When we dance she snuggles and doesn't want me to put her down. How could anyone NOT want to be a parent? With all the hard things, all the sleep deprivation, monotony, whinning and temper tantrums its not enough of crud to make being a parent bad. If you stack up all the hard stuff next to the moments of complete joy and fulfillment- complete joy wins out everytime. I know, I'm on a rampage- but, I just have to put it out there that I am in complete love with this little girl and being a mother is the very best thing I could ever be. I hope that when my little girls grow up they will think of me as I think of my mother, there could be no greater compliment and I could not have completed anything more important than that. So, from the family that bleeds blue to the families that may bleed yellow (yes brothers you) we love you, and remember how amazing your children are because I'm sure you feel the same way about yours as I do about mine.

Some videos, as promised...

so here are some pics of Jade. the first one is of her super cute new jelly shoes. The last one is her new favorite face. thank you cameron for teaching her that. the Second pic is of Ben and Lynn. They can done to visit us this last week and it was so fun. They may have beaten us in rook by one game but we cant wait to see them again soon...at which point we will wipe the floor with them in Rook! ahah Suckers! Seriously, we had so much fun. It was great to have them with us. The last night they were here we went to Jazz game. Yeah it was awesome. I cant even tell you. I was so stoked to be there. To understand my level of hyperness just think...Act-athon and a hoop-skirt. Ok, maybe Dana and Mindy will be the only ones to actually have seen me during the act-athon in high school...but...let me tell you...I can get wild. :D It was my first professional basketball game and it was amazing. Those guys are huge. We played the Rockets and Ming from China is shocking. Just standing under the basket and his head almost touches the net. Not kidding. I know, I know, not all the boys I know love the Jazz but as I am now married to a die hard I have come to appreciate them. They really can be great. Granted Boozer is driving my crazy and they seem to like to lose to teams they should easily beat. Its ok though...our house still bleeds blue. The other surprise we had last week was John and Shelly! They surprised me one night and it was wonderful. I was so excited i could hardly keep my emotions in check. I just about cried when realized it was them. I feel like I dont get to see my brothers enough. I love those guys so so so much and I just wish we all lived in the same state so we could be around each other more. Personally, I feel that i scored big time in the Family department. I mean my brothers are all amazing, funny, smart and handsome. Then they went and married awesome girls. I mean what more could i ask for- oh yeah, lets us flippin' live around each other...stinkin' florida....stinkin' utah... We will all just have to keep an eye on David and Stevie wonder to make sure they dont screw anything up. Anyway, it was wonderful to see my brother and his little fam. Goldie is super cute, or course (what else could happen when you mixed those genes?). I hope we get to see them soon, only next time i'm putting my foot down and they are staying with me...HELLO I'm your sister i totally get dibs first! so here are some videos. the first one, is jade and cameron. she is taking the pillow from him. The second is their favorite game -hide and seek. I have the best husband, he is a wonderful daddy. He loves to play with Jade, and read to her. Its so cute. She absolutely loves him. She calls out his name when he isn't around and she knocks on the door to whatever room he is in so that she can go and hang out with him. i pity the boys who are going to try to date her when she is older because Cameron is going to be one protective daddy.. The last video is of us playing outside with our favorite neighbors. Jade loves the middleton's. And you can tell that Addie likes Jade as well. Very very cute.
